Dr Rich Allen is an innovative and powerful master trainer
and educational psychologist from the United States.
Dr Rich Allen visits New Zealand twice a year, usually in
April and October, presenting public courses – The
Power to Train and one-day expander programmes for graduates
of his flagship programme.
He has been coming to New Zealand for over 10 years, and
has a well-established reputation here.

He also works directly with New Zealand organisations
such as Kiwibank, Air New Zealand, The Learning Wave and Jade Corp
to improve the presentation impact and training effectiveness of
their staff.

Dr Rich Allen graduated from Arizona State University
in 1998 with a Ph.D. His cognitive learning theory research provided
understanding on how the brain receives, processes, stores and recalls
information.

His career began in Hawaii teaching at one of
the top five US Prep schools. For the past fourteen years he has
been involved in developing and leading corporate and professional
development programmes. Rich has led top management teams of well-known
companies such as Dupont, AT&T, General Motors, IBM and Porsche
in motivational and values and vision seminars.

He also held a position at ‘Super Camp’ as the
Director and Lead Facilitator for their teenage Accelerated Learning
Program. This included communication, team building and relationship
skills. The programme was so successful that it was presented as
a first in Moscow, Singapore and Hong Kong.

In 1990 Rich founded Impact Learning, Inc. His
programmes have met with international success throughout United
States, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, England,
Australia, New Zealand and Brazil.

Rich's talents do not stop with just training -
he has written two books - Impact
Teaching and TrainSmart.
In addition he is an accomplished composer with two albums of songs
and is currently working on a third.
